The E-rate Program, formally known as the Schools and Libraries Program of the Universal Service Fund, provides discounts to assist eligible schools and libraries in obtaining affordable telecommunications and internet access.
Rural Health Care Program
The Rural Health Care Program supports healthcare providers in rural areas by providing funding for telecommunications and broadband services necessary for the provision of health care services.
Both programs are administered by the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) under the direction of the FCC and provide essential funding for telecommunications infrastructure.
