This is not a formal "RFP," but provides details which should allow service providers to prepare more directed bids. It is important that service providers read the attached document to fully understand this project and prepare a more directed bid. Service Providers are responsible for monitoring the USAC EPC site for any updates to this posting.-----White River Valley School Corporation (the Applicant) seeks to lease lit network capacity to provide an eligible Standalone Data Transmission (WAN) Service between its eligible sites and its network head-end, located at White River Valley High School, 5644 W State Road 54, Switz City, IN 47465, beginning 07-01-2026. Bidders are advised that this project will be contingent upon the successful obtaining of E-Rate funding and an Applicant-issued Notice to Proceed, and the contract agreement between the Applicant and the selected vendor must recognize that contingency. The site to be connected to the head-end is White River Valley Middle School, 2926 S State Road 67, Lyons, IN 47443.Your proposal should include pricing options for 1 +/-Gbps scalable to 5+/- Gbps connections between each endpoint site and the head-end site ( 1 +/-Gbps scalable to 5+/- Gbps at the head-end site), and should allow for service level changes to be made to any location during the term of the contract. Please provide laddered pricing in 1+/- Gbps increments in all bids and contracts. Respondents should offer a fully managed, leased lit solution that delivers the bandwidth scalability and speed, and meets the uptime, latency, and jitter specifications outlined in this RFP. The Applicant wishes to work with the selected vendor to establish an appropriate initial service tier for each building to maximize the cost effectiveness of these services to the Applicant. Sites to be connected should be priced separately (individually); the Applicant reserves the right to remove locations from this list prior to the commencement of the project at its discretion. The Applicant seeks a 10-year contract with or without voluntary extensions; other terms will be considered. QUESTIONS:No informational meetings or building visits will be scheduled. Answers to any written questions or any additional information, revisions, or clarifications to the RFP will be provided in the form of an addendum to be posted with the FCC Form 470 on the Universal Service (E-Rate) website. It is the sole responsibility of the Service Provider to check for any addenda that may be issued.PROPOSALS DUE:The Applicant reserves the right to reject each and every bid, and to waive informalities, irregularities, and errors in the bidding to the extent permitted by law. This includes the right to extend the date and time for receipt of bids. In the event that a responsible bid is not received or if it is determined that the low bid received is too high, the bid received will be rejected and the project will be cancelled or re-bid.
