Category 2: Wrangell PSD seeks a one-time internal connections upgrade at 3 schools (Elem, Middle, High) in FY2026. Scope includes: install/configure ~46 Wi-Fi 7 APs (Ubiquiti or equivalent) with mounts and testing; cabling labor to pull/terminate/label/certify Cat6A (District will provide approximately 6,000 ft of Cat6A cable; vendor must supply the remaining footage needed to complete the project, estimated total ~21,000 ft); install/configure ~8 district-supplied Ubiquiti switches; optional UniFi gateway/controller (router) or equivalent; design consultation, cutover planning, validation, heatmaps, as-builts, and documentation. Substantial completion required Summer 2026. WPSD intends to award one vendor but may reduce scope (1 or 2 schools vs all 3) if funding limits.
