Category 2: This request is for proposals for Category Two (C2) Services for the South Redford School District's BPT6 Structured Cabling project.General Project Overview:The project involves the procurement and installation of a structured cabling and network infrastructure at Thurston High School and the Shear Center. The scope includes providing all necessary labor, equipment, and materials for the structured cabling as defined in the bid documents.All bidders must have a valid Service Provider Identification Number (SPIN) and a Federal Communications Commission Registration Number (FCCRN) and maintain active service provider status throughout the project's duration. The district is seeking USF (E-rate) funding for eligible portions of this project. All proposals must separate USF-eligible products and services from ineligible ones.Inquiries:For all questions regarding the USF requirements in this RFP, contact the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC), Schools and Library Division (SLD) at (888) 203-8100.Bid Submission InstructionsAll bids must be submitted through the Barton Malow Builders bidder portal. Email submissions will not be accepted. Bidders are required to include a bill of materials (BOM) with their proposal, listing all major components, quantities, and extended prices. The BOM is for informational purposes only to help in evaluating proposals. Bidders must review the full set of project documents, including all drawings and specifications, which are available at the jobsite. Bids that do not conform to the plans and specifications will be rejected.Bid Schedule:Virtual Pre-Bid Meeting: Monday, September 22, 2025, at 12:00 PM via Microsoft Teams. A link will be provided later.Work Window for E-Rate Eligible Services: April 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027. No invoices will be dated or paid before April 1, 2026.A full description of the work and requirements is available in the complete Request for Proposal (RFP) documents. The bid must cover all aspects of the project, including supervision, labor, equipment, materials, taxes, bonds, and insurance. The submitted bid signifies the bidder has visited the site and understands the project's conditions. Bidders must submit change pricing within 10 days of receiving the change vehicle, with a detailed cost breakdown; lump sum pricing is not allowed. Failure to submit pricing within this timeframe will result in a $0 change order.; Service Type: Managed Internal Broadband Services
